I have a regular 2019 Honda Pilot and want to install a tow hitch for a bike rack. Wondering if any brethren do it so I can give the business. Please let me know....I need bike rack. On that note, WTB Women's bicycle for the wifey.

Did you buy the tow hitch already?
It's pretty straightforward job.  4 bolts and washers really.  The OEM tow needs a new panel with the hitch.  Most aftermarket ones don't need anything else.  But all of them bolt onto existing welded nuts under the car.  Grab a buddy and should take less than an hour.

Piece of cake!  You can do it yourself.  Just have a bucket, chair or something of a decent height to prop it up on while you're installing.  https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hitch/Honda/Pilot/2019/C13146.html?VehicleID=201934803

Use loctite!

Ask me how I know...

Ok, I will tell you. Going up 19th Ave in SF, what is that clunking sound every time i hit the brakes?  :smt003

Had a 24 ft car trailer behind the truck.
stopped to check it out, and all of the bolts were backed off about halfway.... could have gotten ugly...   :smt010

The instructions on mine called for pretty heavy torque.  85 lbs I think.  I needed a breaker bar to get it torqued down and I have a pretty stout torque wrench.
