Did anybody make it out there this past week-end?

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

I was there in Saturday.  Got there fairly early and caught some bait.  Then fished for halibut without success.  Started to rain and we headed in.

It seemed slow overall.  I heard of a couple of fish caught, but did not see any firsthand.  Met up very briefly with Jeremy (gave him our live bait) and his buddy as we were headed in.

Heading there again this weekend in search of clams, but I am taking my wussy aluminum boat for that excursion ... I need to carry lots of people out to the clam beds.

Later, Sean

Right on. man. Thanks for the report.

I've been fishing Marshall from shore and the weed line that runs along the road there has been pretty full of smelt, and I saw a legal halibut get completely airborn there a week or so ago.
