Hello Everyone!

My name is Alan and I am new to Humboldt county and ocean kayaking fishing.  I've just purchased a Tarpon 120 and am almost fully geared up.

I'm here to learn more about ocean kayak safety and hopefully connect with some anglers in the Trinidad area.  Would love to meet up with anyone that is interested for a day of fishing.

That’s a good kayak, should serve you well.

Take more time than you think is necessary to go over safety. We just lost a kayak angler in Trinidad a few days ago, and it was likely entirely avoidable.
