June was a good month for me...took a break from diving for a day and caught my PB Salmon, dove for some Dungies with fuzz and got to hang with ChuckE, got a negative Rona test, finished 7th month straight with no booze, and got a few more flat fish.

Nervous for July with the increased virus numbers, but will continue doing my best to keep my family and community as safe as possible.

July was a rollercoaster for me.

Two good friends passed (Federico and Marv) and I spent as much time as I could in the water so no one could see me crying.

Found a few nice flat fish here and there.

Then took the risk and took whole family to New Orleans to see my parents for 2 weeks. Really glad I did and we all had a great time. Even
managed to get out and spear some fish in the marsh in 1/2 foot viz.

Managed to get through it all without getting loaded.

Hopefully August will bring more good times and less heart ache.

Few July pics attached.

Sincerely,

Jim

Frikkin 2020...I thought July was a roller coaster until August came around.  :smt010 :smt007 :smt011

CDM's passing...Hotplate losing his home in the fires...PISCEAN's home surviving...

I only managed to shoot a few fish over the course of the whole month, but they were all pretty nice so that helped offset all the other stuff a little.

Here's a few pics of the month.

Fingers crossed September brings smoother sailing...and clear water and plenty of fish  :smt002

Sincerely,

Jim
