I'm at home, the fuel tanks are all filled, I have food and water. I'm ready for some serious hunkering. I've got lots of land to Juander on and even hunt. Then, in the middle of the night I hear a crash. Usually it's a tree falling over, but this sounded different. In the morning I find out what happened. Why me?
I'm in town today to see if the windshield can be replaced. Wish me luck.
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.

What a bummer.  Left turns work out most of the time.  Hope all goes well and you’re back on your plan earlier than you expect. :smt012 :smt006

That's a real bummer Juan. Hope you get it fixed up enough to get out once the SIP is lifted....

Oh man! what a bummer Juan! really sorry that happened.

we have had a serious widowmaker hanging over our "cocktail lounge" since winter 2018. A 20 foot redwood branch was hung up in a tan oak about 30 ft off the ground, hanging heavy end down, slowly swinging in any breeze. After every storm I would look to see if it had finally fallen.
I eventually moved all the furniture and stuff out from its path, an lo and behold after a year and a half it came down last weekend!

a quick job with the chainsaw and it became bonfire wood. Very satisfying and boy am I relieved to have it gone.

I hope insurance takes care of that.
CHUB had just tricked out his Subaru when the same thing happened at Tahoe, only yours looks showroom new compared to his.
I'm glad you weren't getting out of the truck when it happened.
I wonder with all that's going on if a body shop won't come tow it and return it good as new?
