Looking forward to seeing the upcoming Infowars and Breitbart and Occupy Dems videos being posted here soon...
Called it! Only took six days  :smt044.

I was thinking about why you choose to reply with something closer to ad hominem rather than logic, science and reason. Then I read this.

Dear Amy: Responding to the current COVID crisis, I'd like to share the following observation: I think people are becoming "more so..." If they were kind and thoughtful and inclined to be loving before, now they are more so. They are finding ways to help, and finding those who need help, whether it is through sharing their time, money, or kindness.

And those of us who were angry and scared and suspicious before, sadly, are now "more so."

I think the record supports unrestricted ad hominem attacks on infowars, Breitbart and Occupy Democrats.

I’d allow it.

lol, their headline could claim I'm the greatest fisherman alive and I would've responded exactly the same.

I took one for the team and listened to your video. Turns out it's just some dude's Powerpoint presentation of a conspiracy theory claiming how climate change zealots are turning the pandemic into an opportunity to enforce their agenda upon the world. He does present some undeniable facts (ie, hospital revenues are down, SIPs are damaging economy), but most of his presentation is riddled with falsehoods ("there is no science showing SIP/Stay at Home policies work at reducing disease transmission"), false equivalencies ("US demographics are the same as Sweden's, therefore we should adopt the Swedish policies"), and partisan politics ("I need to ensure the listeners know this is Biden's favorite medical expert who misjudged infection rates, even if he is currently in no position of authority over policy").

Compare your video to all the other contributions people have posted here: stats from the CDC, clips from reputable news sources, professional journal abstracts, articles describing important research efforts (along with articles objectively challenging that research), firsthand accounts of hospital workers tending to COVID patients, individual efforts to minimize COVID transmission...

And then there's your climate change-COVID conspiracy video.

Just like with your defense of the Kern County doctors video, this guy is telling you exactly what you want to hear. If you can't recognize the difference between the presentation of information and someone pushing an agenda, you should reconsider what exactly you're sharing here.

Anyone else think the government’s release of the Murder Hornet story amid the protests was a bit too coincidental to be a coincidence?

CD,May 4th
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/index.htm

38,576 confirmed deaths by the CDC.  As opposed to 69,022 deaths reported to the CDC.

From that CDC page, it clearly says that there’s a 1-2 week lag in data because it takes time to code & process the data.

I remember Coastside constantly talking about this and you could tell one's political leanings from their post. Then a moderator mentioned that the forum is about fishing and access to fishing; political BS took some time to migrate from FB to CS and the thread was locked.

At that time, I thought it was cool how NCKA hadn't been facebook-ed, but I guess I spoke/thought too soon. At least fishing is open if you know where to launch.

This is an excellent video showing the difficulties in epidemiological modeling for something we still know very little about, and may answer some folks’ questions as to why infection/mortality projections for COVID-19 continue to change. At the 44:45 mark, the professor is asked an excellent question on how to estimate just how many people might actually have COVID-19 when all you have is the number of people who’ve tested positive for COVID-19.

What politics did I miss?  There were some shoddy “news” sites called out.  That’s not exactly partisan since they are objectively and demonstrably terrible.

I think there’s some good work going on in this particular thread. I can go start a gun thread if you like.

They are ALL pushing an agenda.  Pick your poison, the government, the hospitals, the business owners and every citizen with an opinion.  My agenda is to preserve the rights of the citizens under the Constitution, which seems to have gotten tossed under the bus.

Are you referring to the California State Constitution?

And I to would like to preserve the rights of the citizens....

This is an interesting watch if you have the time.  Some of this goes into how Covid "originated" in a Wuhan lab, but how it got to Wuhan and who brought it there is more interesting.    It starts at about the 10:20 mark
