Now with all this time on hands due to stay at home, I am getting ready to build a Live bait/fish holding tank
I am trying to find a ice chest that fits the back of the kayak that can be modified
Finding dimensions on line and purchasing is not working.
? is with all the Tridents out there someone I am guessing has already found a ice chest that fits good, and acp this mod.
Please advise if you have
Max Dim needed appear to be 13 1/2-14 w x 18 1/2-19 L. depending on rounded bottom or not
Looking at making template out of card board and hit the stores and good will etc to find something.
Thanks for Any help
Any other large container suggestions that will work are welcome also
Cheers

Are the pet food storage containers to odd shaped for your project?   I like the cooler idea but the cycling water keeps the bait happy... :smt006

Didn't check the dimensions...

I end up killing some pretty nice size smelt in my jackson box livewell, maybe 8 gallons of water, maybe 5 actually, depends where you put your drain spout...I try not to keep bait over 9-10 inches, take out a ruler and look at 12" and imagine a bait that long, I'm not sure any livewell kayak style would support that size, them bigger baits will get them bigger fish I can imagine but not always so...hope it works out perfectly, the weight of the water in the livewell also creates a paddling dilemma...I love my livewell... :smt006
