Looks sweet Mike!

I’ve been lucky enough to keep working (by myself) thus far, but trying to get a couple projects done in the meantime. Replaced mine and my elderly neighbor's mailboxes and revamping the garden boxes for spring.
Stay safe y’all!

I’m still working but I did have some time to begin my authentic Viking shield.
Iron boss is riveted, and the oak grip is fastened with clinched nails. Other than the boss, all the parts are repurposed right down to the nails.

DIY!  My wood was all good under the carpet.  It was refinished when I bought the place 16 years ago, and I carpeted over it 12-13 years ago.  I like my wood much better.

We are thinking about remodel our bathrooms with wooden floor.  Any tips or advises  from your DIY experience?

Oh.  I thought you pulled out the carpet and laid the wood afterward.  My bad, my speed reading is rusty  :smt003
