Here is the view from my shed door. I had these two pieces laying around and bolted some magnets to them and voila! perfect fit on our shipping container!

Here are a few pieces I’ve been working on for a (hopefully) art show in late July.

Awesome!  Are those for sale? If yes, I would take one.

Hi guys...Disco Dave here finally logging in.   I'm the guy that hangs out with the Takagi brothers and the Shulanders!

Nice projects!! I have a bunch that I've done and a lot more to go.

1.  Re-organized my garage...now able to get a car and my boat in it!!  I made a wall of shelves and covered it with sliding old doors.  see pic
2.  Also went through my fishing gear...put them in boxes and labeled them like I saw in the previous pages.
3.  Added another layer of boards in my raised bed garden to make it higher.
4.  Cleaned and worked on my Pro angler and old Wahoo I bought last year.  I sold my Whaler with a 2 stroke and got the 18 ft Wahoo for cheap.   Has a 4 stroke too.
5.  Re-wired the Wahoo.  It had a spider web of wires in the center console , I installed a fuse block and used tinned wires and tinned connectors to connect new rocker switches.
6.  Went to my place in Discovery bay and caught some 14-19 inch Stripers on swimbaits and Zara spooks.  Even got some on the fly rod!  see pic
7.  Made some sourdough and Kombucha!  see pic

Hope to get more stuff done soon!!

Last weekend I replaced the eaves on my garage. A lot of the rot was caused by the janky patio cover the previous owner had attached to the roof-- he damaged the edge of the shingles and didn't overlap it properly. One rafter tail had dry rot extending all the way past the top plate.

I used recycled redwood for the new rafter tails, which should last longer. I got roofing felt on it so I don't have to worry about the rain, and hopefully this weekend I will do the trim and shingles.

Also, obligatory first time sourdough shot.

I've got a few things going, but the only real construction were these planter boxes for veggies.  We got bad gopher problems.  Next project: gopher hunt!
