I do love that part of berryessa. Never seem to make it out there though. So ya, I'm going. Twice this year if we go later for aoty. school for me got cancelled so I'll be there Fri night!

My vote for burn of the year so far. 
I'm not buying into all the hysteria, but I'm not going to be stooopid either.
I vote postpone.
There is just not enough solid, credible, know for sure, info out there so I'll err on the side of safety.
Not so much worried about myself, but I would have to live forever with the demon if I passed it onto someone who is in the high risk group.

I'm part of the high risk group too. Still going camping and fishing. 10' distance perfect on kayaks. Hell, I might even bring my BIG NEW BOAT!!!! ( 70s vintage  ) sun and heat kill corona virus. Choose for yourself. Guilt slinging and "for the greater good" sacrificing is your choice. As for me and my family. We're gonna take our hundreds of rolls of tp and go camping... A lot!!!!

I don't know about sun and heat but I heard that snorting vodka keeps the lungs sterile.

Couple points of clarification.
We wanted to mostly get opinions from folks who competed in AOTY/DOTY or planned to attend the event. But we obviously consider everybody’s opinion on the subject.
And I also wanted to make sure everybody understands that I’m not unilaterally deciding to postpone the awards ceremony. The AOTY committee discussed it and we decided to include the community in the decision. This is a democracy. I just drew the shortest straw and got to post the poll.

Thanks Pat! I voted to continue as normal but understand the concerns. It would not be a big deal to move the date? The weather only gets better too. Although I would like to continue the end of March dates for future AOTY awards

so, for those that didn't get my sarcasm because I didn't include emogees. Sun and toilet paper will not save you. I'm glad y'all are so concerned. And I hope when you get sick you take the 10 un-paid days to isolate in place. That is NOT WHAT I SEE HAPPENING. Our dealership was exposed by a lady that dropped off her car in the morning ( no symptoms ) and couldn't come get it at the end of the day because she had gotten symptoms during the day, had been tested and was positive for the .monster virus. Coughing people in stores at gas pumps, fast food restaurants, shops..... My point iz. I will take precautions. Wash etc. I will not stop going outside to play/live. I won't be huggin on my new grandchildren. I will probably be exposed and might even get sick. I work on people's cars!!! Talk about germs! But I'll bet (possibly) my life, this will end up like all the other scares and at the end of it all. Either I or those that chose to live in fear, panic... Are going to have to live with their decision and how you deal with people during this current health scare. I have been threw all sorts of them. Caught some too. Sucked! But I Will be doing my thing to keep cars going. Recreating, camping, fishing. Be comfortable with your decisions. Don't attack others for theirs. You don't have to join me. I might just be a dick soon to be sick and wrong....😆😈😬

Well I am not what would be considered high risk for the virus, but the likelihood of being exposed through work is very high for me. I hope to avoid getting sick, but am not changing my whole life around. So I voted for keeping it as set, but I will attend the event be it on that weekend or a different weekend. I’ll either be fishing by myself that weekend or not 

I vote postpone so that I can have the lake to myself that weekend!
