Trout in Lake Mendocino?

Anyone know of trout in lake Mendocino? Or am I totally crazy?

yes, there are trout in Lake Mendo and I believe they come in there sometimes after being stocked in the East Branch Russian.  Not all too sure about the when and how much stocking.  Mendo gets warm and hence you don't see them too often.  Also, smaller shiny fish look attractive to larger predators.......

That silly trout smacked the lv500 in 10 foot deep water by some submerged wood. Thought it was a decent bass the way hit hit, then he went airborne a bunch of times. Super aggressive.

I did some research and he’s apparently been in the lake for the last 4 months or so.....

Craw colored lipless cranks are apparently the hottest trout lure out there!!

Thats awesome!  Had no idea they are in there.  Must be pretty scared of them 20lb stripers
