yes, there are trout in Lake Mendo and I believe they come in there sometimes after being stocked in the East Branch Russian.  Not all too sure about the when and how much stocking.  Mendo gets warm and hence you don't see them too often.  Also, smaller shiny fish look attractive to larger predators.......

That silly trout smacked the lv500 in 10 foot deep water by some submerged wood. Thought it was a decent bass the way hit hit, then he went airborne a bunch of times. Super aggressive.

I did some research and he’s apparently been in the lake for the last 4 months or so.....
