As we are getting closer to the Rock Fishing season.  I decided to mount the NCKA logo flags to my kayaks.
Purchased a tri-fold flag pole, flag base and mounting base from Ebay totaling around $20.
One base was mount to a track and the other was through drilled holes.
After the base was installed installing and removing the pole by pushing a slider button.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

I like it, I found a fibreglass rod with a threaded end. Trying to figure out a good way to attach the flag tho..

did you open up the one part where you poke into the flag?

Yes, I opened the near bottom to slide in the rod.

try zip ties and then run a bead of silicon on each side to keep it from slipping down. I mounted my flag pole on top of my H-bar so I can be seen easier out in the ocean.

Thanks for the post. Great wind directional device as well. Besides current, wind direction is a great factor on which way I am headed out in the morning.

I'm having issues with my phone and I've had sever people ask me how I put my flag on my h bar. For some reason it's not letting me send the private messages.... so here's a few pics of how I have it set up....

lol I've changed it up a little since we went out. So far the new set up works great for sturgeon and lakes. we will see how it works for the bay soon.
