I’m not a trophy fish guy at all, I don’t usually post these shots, I’m here with the wife so I was going for a quick dive to shoot a few blues and maybe get a few scallops for a paella recipe.  I got 6 scallops in one fault line, made  so much noise and kicked up so much silt that all the blues came over from everywhere, I quickly dispatched 4 blues and dropped my gun to mark a new nearby spot that looked good for scallops, breathed up went down about 25-30ft and noticed this beast swimming out of the shadows, he was for sure attracted by all my noisy activity. I swam over to dislodge my gun from a hole, turned back around and shish kabobbed this beast, he had his mouth open like he was yawning as I shot him so the spear went through his mouth and out towards his tail.  It was the most efficient dive ever had everything I needed for the meal in under 1.5 hours.
