Much windier and bumpier out beyond Pesc. Pt than the predictions, so I trolled up a couple of good rockies and tried to fish inside at the Tower house, no dice.  Trolled back inside and just SE  of the big rock on the outsideof the kelp I got a couple of underlings onthe troll.   Also got a 3 1/2  and a 5' shark (not a leopard or thresher, but I don't know my sharks well enough.  Those red lip-grippers were worth the money geting my lure back with them.  Tied off to the outside kelp in that area, about 60' deep, and couldn't get to the bottom for the blues.  They weren't outside, they were in with the flat water.  Saw a man and woman in a double and another man in a single in that area, also pulling up fish, and a shark.  Launch and landing calm.  Scattered fog most of the day, great views.  Dolphins.
The workmen still are working on the launch ramp, so it's just a few feet wide.  Had a bunch of boss types there today, talking about doing things in the next few days,so maybe it'll be done before the fall.

Thanks for the great report, Tom!
Yeah, those dogfish must be in thick right now because we got a few on the 14th too. That is, assuming they looked like the shark in my pics. Although it is possible they were another type of shark.
We were also treated to an epic dolphin show that day. They were jumping clear out of the water and spinning 360's about 50 feet away! One of the reasons I love fishing in Carmel bay.

Thanks!
