Saturday I went out looking for stripers in the dutchman slough area. I trolled for two hours without a bite. I found a pump with some water flowing. After getting out and fan casting from the levee I got my first and only bite of the day. After a few good runs I landed my new PB striper! 35" and extremely fat! According to the fish and game length to weigh ratio chart I think she weighed between 18-20 lbs. She was caught on a 4" white River2sea D-walker swimbait on a half oz weedless jighead. Great way to start off the year!

Beauty. My last few striper trips upriver have resulted in skunks so it's good to see there are still fish around. Finding those levee breaks and moving water seems to be the key. Great catch, thanks for sharing !
