All,

I just thought I would post up some shots of my yak "Ripple".  She is an Ocean Kayak Drifter that I won in the first Plastic Navy spotted bay bass tournament in San Diego.

Here she is from the rear (excuse my ugly yard)

Here is the bait tank set up.  Drifters are a pain because the tank well is so narrow.  I finally found a basket and container that fit.  I used a bilge pump from Wally World and hooked up a one way valve and a plug that fits in one of the scupper holes in the hull.  I draw water directly from the scupper hole to pump into the tank.  I have yet to perfect the electrical, but it is a rechargable 12 volt from Frys and the battery in the box is switched.

Here is the cockpit.  I used a Rhynobar for my accessories (I love that product) with two Scotty rod holders and a Eagle Fishmark 320 fishfinder.  The transducer hangs off of the side with a bracket that hangs off of the Rhynobar.  The battery for the fishfinder is in a box in the main hatch.

Here she is from the front.  You can see the transducer on the left side of the kayak (right in the picture)

She is a fine yak, and she has a rudder system that I just love.  I need to upgrade the seat however.

great job MolBasser, I am planning on purchasing the drifter as well! Where did you find the basket and container for the tank well?

I got the basket, I think, at Target.  The container came from a store in San Diego called (appropriatley enough) the container store.

It is just a matter of finding the right demensions.

If you are interested, I will go and see if I can get a name or serial number off of the basket as it fits perfectly...
