Mussel Foraging catch and cook (video)

one last technical question regarding the area (appears to be Asilomar)..."I ain't from around there" ....  The marine sanctuary and reserve language to me is very confusing.  Where is it legal to fish and where is it not in the area?  I assume the area where the video was taken is legal.

Yes the area was legal to take and mussels are easy to find if you just do some exploring during minus tide.

Nice video Jae! I picked mussels a few weeks ago and we made a fish/mussel soup for Christmas dinner. It was great!Can't wait to go out next low tide.

 I've seen mussels clinging to tide rocks so many times and it never crossed my mind to pick a few.
