Another very nice day, lots of sun, no wind/waves, whale show, lots of boats out front, saw no fish caught, one guy told me two were caught, and I think I heard on radio that a few were caught near Monterey. I mooched about 3 hours and trolled wma and fbr about 1 1/2 hrs.

Tom,

Sorry to hear the salmon didn't cooperate.  I may try again Sunday.

Was that you FT?  Was gonna hail you on 69 but was too distracted by the humps in front of the stacks.  They were really frolicking among the fleet.

Didn't you love the conditions?  FAC, no wind, and clear sunny skies.  Lots of jellies and salad in the water made the troll tough.  I got one shaker at 1030 hrs - 110 ft on the wire using straight anchovy in a RSK, no dodger.  I'd say the bite is dead, and deader.

My buddy has a nice boat, "20 Gauge".  When I grow up, I want toys like him.

Yep, that was me in my red life jacket, thanks for the photo.   I fished shallower, 40-60 ft, than the 75+ last time, didn't get any sharks, but nothing else either.  At the end, I trolled almost to the beach to the north of the jaws thinking I might get a hali - rare day you can get that close in that area.
