Yesterday, I bailed and went beach perch (3 tiny hits) I got there at 5:30 am the winds at 5:30 were 13 miles per hour out of the south.  Today, got there at 6 am and the winds were 11 miles per hour out of the south.  I chicken out again.

I climb aboard the TigerFish party boat.  We were just suppose to go up the coast and fish inshore.  At the last minute Allen Chin decided to go to the Farallon Island.  He ate the $10 extra dollars per person to get us bigger fish.  He is really a very nice Capt.  He was a deckhand on the C-Gull 2 for a long time.  I used to fish this boat when it was the Makeira out of Santa Cruz..

Too make a long story short.  It was a little windy.  But not that bad. The drift was was pretty good..  I got 2 lings (35" was the larger one) and limit of rockcod.  Also, had 8 other undersize lings.  All on a 8 oz. bar using 50 lb. braid.  The kicker was I got the jackpot, also.

I guess sometimes it is good to have a back-up plan.  Allen has a girl deckhand Andrea and she is also nice.

You can see a few pictures of the deckhand on there website. tigerfish.com.  Looks like they have two girls as deckhands.  I will ask Allen on my next trip.

Albacore are 50 miles out of Moss Landing and working up the coast.  Justin of Fisherman's Wareshouseof San Jose was on a boat (PB) that got Ablies and a 10 Lb Dorado (Mahi Mahi) on the troll earlier this week.  See Coastside Web site.

Ken, we'll forgive you for forgetting ur pants at home and sporting the flashdancer outfit but next time we need a DH pic bro.   :smt003

Nice job taking the pot...she's a fatty.  I read the A. Chin bio....with those kinda credentials you know the man runs a clean operation and can find the fish.

Agarcia,

I was perpare to go on my Yak.  The blue pants are use when I am alittle cold on lakes.  I only had my wetsuit and don't know if that would be a better "Look".  But, the wetsuit is a bitch to side off and do #1 or #2.

I thought I had my Deckhand tops and bottom in org.  But, then the other customers think you are one of the crew and asked you to do everything from taking they fish off the hook to wiping they bottoms.
