Well, woke up and loaded up and to the bait shop i went. didn't find the fresh bait so I had to go with frozen. On to Montezuma I went. The Weather was awesome and water looked great. Ran into a some kayaker's on the launch and some where already anchored soaking bait. I searched for the fish and found them. The only problem was that they were not hungry. Put out a buffet for them but none took the hook. Caught a small striper and some split tails but none for my liking. Next week I hope will be a different story.

At least you had a nice day out! Where did you end up dropping anchor? Around the cables or down to the deep hole at the red barn? Hopefully they will be hungry next time!
Happy new years!

I headed out to the right. Near the trees, last time I went to the left but that whole stretch is productive this time of year. Except for yesturday.lol
