Been a while since I've posted, well, practically anything.... but I want that to change for my new years resolution.  I miss you guys a lot, and though I focused on my career for the last three years, NCKA changed my life for the better, and I want to get back to participating.

So a few weeks ago Sara and I were doing our favorite weekend activity and took Bacon down to Twin Lakes and started casting out for some perch.  The surf was still quite high, and we were getting tangles almost every cast with all the kelp that was in the water.  But we were having fun trying anyways.

At one point i'm casting out into the big blue and I see what looked like flash of green in the water rush past my feet, and I look down and find that it was a 20$ bill!  :smt007 I'm pretty happy about finding that, and run over with Bacon to Sara and show her and take a picture for s***s and giggles.   We go back to fishing and after some time I see ANOTHER 20$ bill in the water!   I cant believe my luck!  I run back over to Sara and tell her about it, and now were full on looking up and down the beach for more money in the surf!

While we are looking there is a couple walking along the beach hand in hand, and curiously holding a wet 20$ bill  :smt044  We find one more bill, but this time it was only a buck, but hey, up to 41$ now!  :smt003  We continue to not catch anything, but enjoying the time in the sun and having some safety meetings and such  :smt033

We decide to give it a rest and pack up, and walk back to the car and decide to go out for a bite to eat.  When we arrive at the Seabright Brewery (They allow dogs) and when I get out of the truck I reach for my wallet and find it's not there.

I'm in total denial, and figure I left it at home, so we skip on the brewery and head home only to find that it's not there either.  :smt009  I then reach into my pocket and my hand goes straight down and through the bottom, and it finally dawns on me what happened. :smt005

Lost my wallet, credit/debit cards, drivers license, fishing license, and about 250 in cash.  :smt005

I can laugh about it now at least  :smt003

(Pics later, but it *DID* happen)

Pics added to first post  :smt004  Oh and there was also this little guy that washed up in the surf.  Tossed it back out as bait, but it got lost in a tangle.
