I'm heading out to Rancho Seco for the very fist time in a couple of weeks and would appreciate any tips on the best places for bank fishing (trout) or lure for trolling if we decide to rent an electric boat.

for banking it the dam is good, but so is the south shore. Take kayak, troll down the middle :)

Thank you! My friend is skittish about kayaks but is fine in an electric/aluminum boat.  I post after the trip.
