Just what I needed--another kayak! But I couldn't pass up a good deal on this OK Prowler 13.

I had two flush-mount rod holders placed behind the seat. I added a simple Scotty flush mount in the center of the bow-end of the cockpit and installed a clam cleat to seal the FF wires on the vertical surface at the far end of the right footwell. For now, I want to try using a rod holder and my FF on a triple Scotty rod holder mount in the center. Later, I may decide to put the FF there instead and add a surface mount Scotty rod holder on the side of the right footwell.

I cut some closed-cell foam to create snug "nests" for the transducer and battery pack and gooped them in place just inside the hatch by the scupper hole.

What I REALLY want to do is get this rig on the water! I'm still looking for a volunteer to buddy up with me at the Bodega derby...hint, hint!

Nice rig there Janice and you've already got it all setup.  I like the bright green.  Any details on the good deal?  I'm starting to think it's time for me to buy a new boat here shortly.  I'd like to check out the Trident but I think there will be some really good deals on the Prowlers soon.

Great work BigJ! The gummyworm is a winner!!! I like how you have it set up so far, nice and simple. My next yak will be set up that way. Now just to christen it with a little fish blood!   :fishing1

Very nice, very nice! I still think I will eventually get a P13|5 for a second ride.  But I will have to wait, I'm in the middle of closing on my wife and I's first home!  So maybe next year, IF I am good :)

Cleanly rigged.  I'm sure you'll grow to really like it.  Just ask Seabreeze about how she likes hers.

nice!

I would chose to put the battery in the middle and the transducer on the side(you can make it point straight
down in the foam holder) so that you have the heavy battery in the center.
