Good luck out there! I've burned all my WAF points the last month and am in deficit spending mode. Gonna be house choreing for a bit to build up those points...  :smt005 :smt006
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

First cove past the bridge on the left was holding a lot of biting fish. So were the banks on the north side of Putah creek just past the bridge.

Bring your speedy shiners and rapalas I did well between 3-6 feet down

Good luck, hope you find them biting

How was it? Thinking about heading up this weekend either friday or Saturday. Not sure which end to fish and maybe camp the night.
Hope you caught lots of big ones!

Well......it beat sitting on the couch!  :smt012  I started off trolling spoons and dodger worm combos for a while then went to dropshotting for bass.  I boated a few bass in the 15 inch range but no go on the trout trolling for which I spent 75% of the time doing :smt010 . The bass were taken on a purple worm up Putah Creek about a half mile.  Met Trutta at the ramp on the haul out....he was looking for the afternoon bite.  Hope you found em!  Saw a few other yakkers in the morning and all were like me taking advantage of the great WX.....light breeze and sunny with a few clouds.
Good luck to anyone who  ventures out (after the storm).  The fish are there but not biting "off the hook" just yet.  :smt002

Same story on the South side on Saturday. Trolled for trout for almost 3 hrs for nothing. Switched to bassing and caught a few on the main lake. Even a PBer I talked to only caught a crappie while trolling.

Nice to meet you kokoloco.  :smt006
Afternoon bite was pretty solid. I wound up doing the same thing as last week, and landed three before I made it to the bridge. That bite cooled , so I moved past the bridge to the floating porta potty. There are springs over there and man the fish were stacked in the cooler water. I ended the day with 4 on the stringer and 9 total landed. Biggest was about 17”
