GRAPHIC VIDEO: Herons Catching Gophers

A video I shot and edited of our local great blue herons putting the hurt on the gophers.

That's pretty cool stuff! My kids liked it.

Can I get a few of those birds for my yard.

I was wondering if those gophers were going down kicking and screaming or not, funny to see the Heron flip it around trying to get a good hold of the neck to kill it.  I take for granted I have hands lol.

I need some pet herons for my garden apparently.

i feel for the gophers, but i'm sure they've been battling Herons since time began. Very good video of natural things still happening so close to encroaching humans.
