I'm thinking about going out at Doran, but no rockfish there. Where are you thinking about going?

I believe I'm driving to Lawsons Landing (Tomales Bay) very early Sunday morning and crossing the inlet to the beaches on the peninsula. Crabbed out of an aluminum boat there many years ago and we did very well.
I'm thinking the tides will be perfect and easy for crossing between sunrise and about 2-3 pm on both Sunday & Monday. I plan to stay overnight.
Anybody crabbed over there this year?

I thought about Pacifica, but with a 5' swell and not much surf launch experience I decided to go to Doran instead.x

I dropped 4 pots off of of Jack's beach (ish) north of Hog Island on opening day in about 35 FOW. Got a couple jumbos (2), a bunch of rock crabs, and one missing trap.
