I saw a post on here - somewhere - regarding an AMA on one side of a Revo or an Adventure Island. The post said that type of rig is getting popular. I use the inflatable AMA’s to sail my Revo but it also to gives me some stability for reaching behind me for rods, use of a bait well, and stuff like that.  (I’m not real flexible so I tend to lean to far on a narrow Revo when reaching behind me).

On my last trip to Tomales I headed back from about 1/4 mile south of hog island to the ramp at Nicks. (Heading east and slightly north) There was a stiff breeze from the south west and steep little 1 foot swells from the same direction. The swells would hit the starboard AMA and slam down the port AMA. It was a weird ride back into the launch.

What happens with one AMA if it’s on the weather side?  Without my downwind AMA I felt like I might have gone for a swim.
