Hi Everyone

Thanks for the add! I live in SF and have been actively fishing for the past 1.5 years. Always wanted to catch a striper and it started with that and that was my first attempt at saltwater fishing. I also returned from a hiatus from fishing for 4 decades (all freshwater), but needed something to enjoy the outdoors and I just liked fishing as a kid. Chasing stripers was tough and last year was just tough, but Crab season came up and got into that into in a big way, since we love crab! Got into fly fishing as well since I live to overcomplicate things :p. I really just love the feel when it comes together and have been addicted to fly since. Up to this point been actively chasing perch and stripers at the beach as well as chasing some freshwater trout in upper Sacramento. All in all, it's been a flurry of fishing activity.

I got introduced to kayak fishing from my neighbor / Andrew who was routinely bringing home salmon on his outings on his Adventure Island 16. Everytime, I came home, he was unloading Salmon from his boat. Needless to say, this started the interest into kayaks, but I was hesitant to take the plunge but was thinking about getting one for quite a while, but wanted to make sure it was something I would do, cause I seem to go through hobbies pretty quickly.

I finally bought a used compass just a couple weeks ago, and have been out with Andrew at Linda Mar, Half Moon Bay as well as in the Bay. Really love fishing with the yak and it's a new adventure finding all this new water and chasing all these other species.

Look forward to meeting in the future!
