Fishermans Warehouse of Fresno is sponsering a two day trip aboard the 80" Constution, and I have been put in charge.  The boat leaves h&m landing in San Diego Sunday July 15th at 9pm and returns Tuesday July 17 at 7pm.  The price for the trip is $450 + Fish cleaning, tips, and sodas/beer.  Meals are included.

It would be great to have some NCKA members aboard.

Patrick... very nice!
I've never caught an albacore.  I hear that they're delicious sashimi style.
Can you imagine one off a kayak?!?

Chuck, you don't have to actually catch one to eat a loin or two sashimi style!  :smt002.

If you would have said leaving Friday returning Sunday I would have been on this one.  Just started new job and don't have the time yet.  Good luck!  I heard the Albies are in town down south.

Update July 6-07
Thanks for lighting the fire.  I just made a reservation on my favorite boat the Pacific Queen out of Fishermans Landing.  The trip leaves on Saturday 10:00pm and returns Sunday at 8:00pm if anyone is intersted.  Sorry for hijacking your post but your post caused me to make the reservation so I thought I would ride on the post.

whenever I get sushi I get albacore, it's superior to YT IMO.  I'm working on culturing a taste for it in me and my wife so that someday when I bring home 20 albacore we'll make short work of them.

Our baby is still too small for me to take off on my wife for that long, so I'll have to sit it out.
