Trying to put my intro in the right place this time...

My first intro attempt below. Thank you to Shane and Nick Fish for the first day advice on Rockaway Beach.

Introductions: I’m just getting into kayak fishing (have fly fished quite a bit), and I have gone out twice solo and had a blast.  I’m trying to find a way to meet up with other people fishing in or near the Bay, Tomales, Bodega, Baker Beach, Pacifica, etc...  I would love to learn from more experienced kayak anglers re: techniques and gear (currently my gear is on the budget/homemade end of the spectrum but I’m planning on steady upgrades). I do have a Garmin 4cv fishfinder and a decent marine radio. I just put my first spool of braided line into my bait caster. In my very short kayak career I’ve caught shakers, guitarfish, a leopard and a sand shark, but I really really want to catch a king salmon before they head upstream.
