A lot of my friends are repoting catching stripers from the point lately from shore. I really want to take my kayak out there but not familiar with the river and it's currents. Any help would be appreciated. I will be going out at opening gates 5 am Saturday morning 7/7/07 if anyone wants to join me chasing stripers out there.

Ive only caught one fish out there, a squaw, thought I had a nice striper on. My wife did lose a nice striper right at shore.
