For elderly yakers and young yakers who want to make beach life easier. :smt001 :smt001 :smt001

When you get to a certain age, pulling a loaded AI or any yak for that matter, becomes a big and tiring chore.
But I want to keep yaking so I have to think of ways to make life easier. To do so, I would do several trips to lighten the AI so the wheels don’t get buried in the sand. Bring the AMA’s first, then the motor, the pull the AI with the AKA’s and other stuff in it but still the wheelez gets buried in the sand which makes it so hard to pull and makes you breathe so hard :smt044.
To lessen the trip, I have also brought my wife to come along with me and she has helped me a lot by carrying some of the stuff but I do feel guilty having her work that hard especially when I don't bring in any catch.

Now, here’s what I came up with and the wife is very happy with it. I'll try to have her pull it and see if it lightens her load. Just kidding!!!!

Here it is fully loaded with the AKA's and other stuff.
If no outboard, then you can load your AMA's too but you have to use longer pins on the end of 2x4 motor mount or just secure them with bungee cords or rope.

Now the 2x4 outboard mount seats securely to the top golf bag holder mount and easily removable.

The golf cart folds to half its extended length which is a plus for me because everything gets loaded to a Prius.
Cost: $7. Where: Goodwill. Cheapo me.

Hope somebody makes a use of this idea or triggers another idea. For testing this Monday at Rockaway.
Enjoy!

Nice mod. Can I borrow it to launch my AI with motor at Rockaway?  :smt003 The weight issue also prevents me from launching the AI+motor there. Have you tried it on the sand? Don't these wheels dig in to sand?

Hahaha, you got me! When I read Golf Cart, I’m thinking like a Cushman and I’m ready to say “ don’t do it, it’ll get buried in the sand.” DAMHIK.

Interesting mod, love the pole basket - wonder about the tires and their float factor on soft sand.

And, what about Howard’s question?  :smt001

Yeah Kuya Danny. The weight of the AI have me contemplating on selling it n just getting a Revo  :smt003
But I can’t complain with the comfort when I finally get it on the water.

May have to but I'll know on Monday when I first try it. Funny thing though, I've seen some wheelez with these kind of tires.

Next time we fish Allan, use it n see if it makes a difference. Hopefully, it will so we can kayak more often rather than spending the time to recuperate.

I have the same dilemma with my AI and maybe WE can fix that slope as WE NCKA used that all the time. Just a thought? Any possibility that we can do that?
