Bait, Bait, Bait more bait.

No fish.   several times Saturday and sunday my blood got going when the pelicans were practically sticking themselves in the sand they were so close to shore.  My last attemp from shore today resulted in me snag rigging( please verify if that is legal, someone told me it wasn't) a chovie an hoping for striper to nail a crippled chovie. NADA.

Anyway the bait is in so think it stretches about two to three miles.  South end of Rockaway all the way to Muscle rock. Some breaks in between but not many. Last time there was this much bait is was 04'.  Only difference is there aren't any fish this time.

Aren't any fish- YET- yet, yet oh please let it be yet.  With a little luck the salmon will find all that bait- and it'll be a turkey shoot
