Went to Santa Cruz with my wife and stopped by Kayak Connection and got myself a brand new 2019 Outback (was my bday gift, well it was a big one ;-)

I demoed it before to buy it and it is quite different from my old Predator 13 and will take some practice to get use to it but I'm sure I will love it.

Now I need to rig it!

Thank you all. Will try to find a clam lake to get use to it and practice self rescue before to try the big blue.

My big concern right now is to pick a FF for a reasonable price. Suggestions welcome!

Good luck with the FF selection.
I thought the dragonfly 5/7 was reasonably priced but looks like basspro got rid of them for some reason.

Then again the lowrance ready for hobie is hard to sway from.
