Santa Cruz Or Capitola on Mon 7/2?

I unexpectedly have nothing to do tomorrow.  Anyone interested in hunting one of those halibuts that Allen keeps making me wish I was out fishing for?

I don't have much experience with either of those two places...any help would be appreciated.

conditions tomorrow seem great, would like to go, be there by 7AM, try to make some bait if i can, if not just buy some frozen bait and head out of the harbor towards capitola like allen reported. you're from mountain view? i'm in sj/campbell area, near 17 so it'll be great if you'd like to carpool, share the costs and double the fun. call me at 415-335-2247.

Wish I could join, but looks like Friday at the earliest I can hit the water.  S dock at SC harbor had a guy selling live bait last weekend btw.  Hope you have a great time, and look forward to your report!
