i think the heavy or xtra heavy should be fine for that much weight.

Just received my TZC70MBLK ( I was lucky enough to grab conventional, but too late for 8') and it's gorgeous. Hopefully it's as sturdy as my Terez Waxwing - my main rod for 3 years for rockfish, halibut and salmon, and never failed.
