Hello, has anyone heard anything about a recent bust at Ocean Cove for poaching abalone and rockfish?  My buddy heard from some kayak fisherman at Lake Sonoma that they witnessed a boat and fishing gear being confiscated by Fish and Wildlife from a group of Russian poachers at Ocean Cove recently.  Thank you.

Off the subject a little. Saw this at a local resturant . Not sure if they are red abalone or farm raised?

Jesus...

There was a thread on BD awhile back with a picture of 3 or 4 yellowtail for sale at an Asian market in Long Beach and they still had a #26 tag from the Excel stapled to their gills.  :smt011

I’ve heard that Russians have taken over at ocean cove. I don’t know much about them and fishing but I’ve witnessed first hand not obeying mushroom take restrictions in the Salt Point area. So this would make perfect sense.
