Any tips on finding good crappie in the greater Sacramento area?
I've heard Folsom but have also read it might not even be worth trying.
Also heard a trip up to Collins Lake might be a good idea.
I've searched the forum but don't have access some posts since I haven't hit my 10 post minimum yet.
Anyhow, My dad sent me pics of his crappie haul last weekend (from the midwest) and i'm a bit jealous...
any advice is appreciated.

Anador has crappie. Try around the docks using minnows.

my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

Never really picked up crappie in the port incidental to bass fishing - and I’ve been in the port pretty often.  I have in Lake Berryessa up the Putah Creek arm. Guessing their all over the lake.
