I've been eyeing this spot for awhile, just waiting for a chance to go (Sat 8/3).
Took a drive up just to scout location for beach access and it's doable.  (See attached.)
Anyone interested?

Hi Royyak,
The photo you posted looks like it is of Hearn Gulch, at mile marker 10.5 on Highway 1.  Yes, it would be a great fishing spot, but is inside of the Saunders Reef Marine Reserve.  Fishing in the reserve is limited to urchins and trolling for salmon.  No spear fishing or rock fishing from the kayak.  In this area, I recommend going to Anchor Bay or the Pier in Point Arena.

Good ID!  That's Hearn Gulch 100%, so no-go.  Also, kinda messed up that the Yelp page for Hearn has a picture of people shore fishing.

Ended up fishing monterey fri/sat.
had a good trip.  lost three 30"+ lings at the boat.  shook their heads and said better luck next time...😖😁
divers were on the butts (see pic)
