Gonna jump on the window for the ocean. Looks like it's going to be pretty flat and calm tomorrow. I'm going to hit Salt Point first thing in the morning. Probably jump in for some abs first, then go for the rockies after. Anyone up for it? Company welcome. I'll bring my vhf also. ch 69.

Go get 'em Jonesz! I've listening to forcasts also and I have to work thursday but I'm going out of Noyo friday on a powerboat. If the guy didn't need a deckhand I'd be 'yakin' it. Thursday and friday look flaaaaat with little wind.
Mmmmm, fresh fish friday night!
Good luck to you.
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.

Jfish, Salt Point is in the middle of the Sonoma coast. It below Sea Ranch(about 6-8 miles north of Jenner). If you go, there is a $5 entrance fee, that allows you to launch at the back of the cove. You can't miss the sign to the park. It's like launching in a swimming pool. You have to carry/drag your yak over about 30-50' (depending on tide) of rocks to the water. Follow the road all the way back to the cove (looks like your going to the cabin over the cove, but it goes to the back of the cove. Bring wheels if you have em. You wheel it down about 80' before you get to the rocks. From the cove it's an easy paddle out to the point.

Juan,
good luck to you also. I'm hoping to stock up some fillets for a party on Saturday.  :smt001 Sounds like you had some fun at Clear lake. Ever try those frogs at night? they're a blast, it's all sound. Listen for the explosion, wait till you feel em and rip their lips off!!!!
