Does anybody know why the V1 to V2 turbo kits dropped in price so much? They went from $255 to $168. On AustinKayak it says that they are no longer available. Maybe a new drive it's coming?
The reason why I noticed is I have a V1 md180 that I need to get turbo fins and I have been keeping an eye on it and now I see a drastic drop in price.

Hobie raided the price about a year ago.  Maybe they realized they were being ridiculous?  Of course the lower price is still crazy to me.

The fins use to be around $130 so IT IS kind of ridiculous. Also Be careful of the tiny spring that secures the clevis pin to your fin. I lost one of my fins because of this crappy little spring and it just slide out into the bottom of the ocean  :smt012
