Can’t find it in the regs this is the only thing I see.
Does anyone know what it is and where to find it?

The bag limit on all invertebrates for which the take is authorized and for which there is not a bag limit otherwise established in this article is 35. In San Francisco and San Pablo bays and saltwater tributaries east of the Golden Gate Bridge invertebrates may not be taken at night except from the shore.

I think it was on a Kirk Lombard tour, but can't be sure. Anyway to stay legal the person showing the legal method of take just had a giant fish hook with a short piece of line attached. Meets the hook and line requirement or so they said. Other than that you're limited to bare hands.

If they are slightly underwater they will slide off the rocks easy.
I just eat them raw with lemon juice n Tobasco.

Funny, my mom was just asked me last night if I ever picked them. Told her most of the one I see are  in the 1” size. Might have to stalk you now to find your secret spot. ☺️
