Can anyone tell me the diameter and length of the axle section that the wheels bear on?  Also it looks like the old Wheeleez pin setup is a goner, so a pict of how the wheels get locked on would be helpful.

My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

Per usual I regret trying to save money by DIYing and wish I had just dropped the coin for the store bought cart, was kind of in to build and spent about $110ish all in.

Mien, thanks buddy, nice new cart btw.

I do need more info:  I am trying to figure out if my off-label wheels will fit onto and work with that Hobie frame, so I need to know about the axle:

  • What is the axle diameter?
  • How long is each bit of axle that a wheel rides on?

Last thing:  Can you please snap a couple of pix of how the wheel is held onto the axle?

Thanks!
