Truly a inspiring day! Ive never trapped suckerfish for bait before.  How big were they?  And how did you hook them?   Thanks for sharing that adventure.
The suckerfish were about 5-6" long and were hooked through the nostrils.  They were not only bigger than the minnows which were only about 2-4" long, but the suckerfish were hardier and dove straight down deep to were the fish were.

chuck, so you are saying
these "sucker" fish dive straight to where the fish you are trying to catch are?

they sound like... well.... SUCKERS!  :smt005  :smt003

freddie, I guess you could call that slow fishing, but poundage-wise, looks like you
did pretty darn well for a morning!

Chuck ~ dustin and I had this conversation yesterday...is it better to catch first cast/first thing and nada for the remainder?  or get the Hailmary-bottom of the ninth hook?   ME?....bot of ninth.
I wish Brad had my number and I was on the ?SECRET? hook-up list!
Mooch....when you get your call?  can you mention the FisHunter would like to join?  and I'll stay for lunch, dinner and breakfast the next day too!
