Hi,

I'm rigging my new TI with tracks (GT90, with backing plates). Anybody has them on top of mesh pockets? Seems to be wide enough, not sure if it's strong for my fish :) It will carry FF and/or 1-2 rod holders

Also, would love to see pictures of rigged TI-2 :)

Thanks,
Sebastian

I opted against the track on my TI and instead went with Scotty mounts in the side pockets of the rear seat, RailBlaza rod holders on the aka bars, and PatR adapters for Scotty mounts on the akas for my front down-rigger.

Then I built a PVC rod holder for the flush mounts behind the rear seat.
Happy to dig up some pics if you like.

Thanks. I like flexibility of tracks (but maybe will add railblaza too). How do you mount FF ?

I think the tracks aren't strong enough for a heavy downrigger.

For the FF, I used a PatR RAM mount on the front AKA, and ran both the power cable and transducer cable through the front hatch. I marine gooped the transducer to the inside floor of the boat under the rear seat. I used a tupperware that I marine gooped to the front floor inside the front hatch for the FF battery.

Gonna look for pics now.

Here is a thread I posted up with all my TI modifications. PVC is your best friend when it comes to the rear seat. Using the flush mounts you can make a super versatile rod, net, gaff, and wheels holder. Get creative! But drill as few holes in your boat as possible. The Scotty mounts in the mesh pockets are as far as I'll go with drilling holes. Everything else is clamps and PVC.
