Hello from a first timer

Hello everyone. I joined to glean from the vast west coast knowledge base I致e heard about. I知 headed out for my first yak fishing trip with an experienced, good friend of mine, on memorial weekend out of Leffingwell in cambria. I値l be on a borrowed eagle talon 12, fishing the kelp beds. Im normally a shore based angler but the fish pics from my bud are just too tempting! I知 admittedly terrified of He who has no name, the Landlord, or whatever other clever name GWs are known by, so I知 keyed in on safety gear first and foremost, and all I need to self rescue. All in all I知 stoked to see what this hobby is all about!
