Hi fellow kayak anglers. I'm new to the forum and relatively new to kayak fishing. Question for the group...

I have a older hobie kayak and need to install a fish finder. Does anyone have any advice on the best way to do it? Or mistakes to avoid? Perhaps an online video?

Thanks all

Chet

Depend on what type of Fish Finder you have.
Where to mount transducer, Head unit, how you route wire.
After you decide all these, you just need to drill and mount.

If you need help, come to Santa Clara I'll give you a hand.

Chet gave good advice and an great offer.  If you go to Chet, then make sure to buy one of his lithium FF batteries too.

I'm not that far from you in El Cerrito.  If you have an FF chosen and purchased, then I can help you wire everything as well.  Just bring everything over and we'll get it figured out.
