I was recently told I should go check out the Pajaro Pipeline. Anyone know exactly where it is? It doesn't seem to be visible from google satellite view.

I believe you guys are right and I recall hearing something about the "poo pipes" so this must be them. When I was looking at satellite, I was zoomed in nearer to shore and in the breakers, didn't look ~1 mile out which is where it starts to appear. Thanks for the help!

There are actually a lot of these rock-covered sewage pipes underwater btwn Seaside & Rio del Mar. Imagine an underwater jetty. They use the same type of rocks/substrate to cover the pipes. And it usually creates good habitat for fish. Now they have to extend out 2 miles, but back in the Ft Ord days, there were a handful that only went out a mile. The remains of those pipes are still around. Check the one off the Cemex plant in Marina. Unfortunately most are hard to reach without a boat.
