SAN PABLO RES. 4/3

My son was on spring break last week and we went to San Pablo Res.  We fished from the bank as he's not a good swimmer yet.  I always forget this place exists but its a pretty nice local lake to throw a line in the water.  We caught three nice trout in about 2 hours. 

My 6 year old caught the trout he is holding in the picture (assuming it posts - this is my first attempt at posting a photo).  I redacted his face in the photo as I don't like posting pictures of my kid online.  Needless to say, he is smiling.  At 6, he has already caught the largest trout in the family!

He definitely likes fishing and is good company. 

Congrats! Some of my fondest fishing memories was being there with my dad when I was that young
