Just stumbled onto this website - mostly I fish lakes & streams in Nor Cal & majority of that I use flies that I tie - I don't catch much fish but I find the sport relaxing & rewarding + in my case I get a workout from doing it - I like to fish from a float tube, but this year I purchased a Sea Eagle PackFish7 - I have only used it a couple of times in the Delta & it seems that I am learning how to fish again because now I have a pair of oars ;) Tight lines everyone!!! :smt006

I would someone to shuttle with on the American River or Moke when it opens back up. Let's keep in touch bro.

What is the Moke and what are you fishing for on the moke?

The Mokelumne (aka The Moke) is a westward flowing stream from the Sierras. In tributaries East of Lake Pardee, one can catch either Rainbows or Browns. I am interested in floating West of the Comanche Damn to Stillman Magee Park in Clements, CA. In that section one can target trout & Steelhead. I have seen Salmon run through there too. Right now that fishing east of Hwy 99 is off limits until May.

Hey I do like your American River idea, especially when the shad start running. Would you be interested in having a shuttle buddy?

Ansolutely. I fish for Steelhead, Stripers and will fish for shad. My buddy caught this one two weeks ago.
